I need to send an extra payment. How do I do it?

When you publish a project in Workana and hire professionals to carry it out, you agree with them on a value for the work to be done.


However, it may happen that during the project professionals may have to perform extra tasks that were not included in the initial agreed budget.


For these cases there is the option of Direct Payment 🎯


Through Direct Payment, you as a client can send the professional an extra payment for those tasks that were not covered by the original agreement.


In order to make a direct payment you must enter the profile of the professional hired. Once inside your profile, you will see a button at the bottom right that says "Send Direct Payment".





Then a new screen will appear where you can indicate the amount you want to send. A reduced commission will be applied to this amount by Workana. When you enter the amount, the payment methods available to you for your country of residence will appear so that you can choose the one that is most convenient for you.



Please note that Direct Payments should not be used to pay for entire projects, but should only be used to pay for extra amounts that may arise from an ongoing project.


This type of payment is not covered by Workana's guarantee, which means that there is no possibility of refund in the event of any dispute between the parties regarding the payment of the direct payment.


Remember that you can also choose to create an extension within the main project to perform these additional tasks. Thus, and being an extension/continuation of the original project, they will have our guarantee 😉
