How messages moderation works in Workana

If you have sent a message to a user and it has been pending approval, it is because it may not have complied with the site's policies.

 

Our moderators will approve or disapprove it, assessing whether or not the message is valid.

 

This process may take some time, we appreciate your understanding.


Possible reasons why my message has remained awaiting approval

 

 

  • That you have included links to sites outside of Workana.
  • If you have sent your portfolio via an external link to Workana (remember that your portfolio must appear in your Workana profile itself, just import it from Behance as indicated here.
  • You have requested contacts outside the platform via email, skype or social network.
  • You have offered/requested payments outside the platform.
 
 

Please note that the moderator evaluates the context in which you have sent this type of information and if he or she sees that the link sent or the payment details refer only to the bid itself, your message will be approved without problems 🙂


What is the moderation process like? What will happen to my message?


Approved Message

 

If your message is approved, it will be sent to your counterpart at the time it is approved.

 

Message Edited

 

If your message was edited, this means that the moderator has removed from your message those elements that did not comply with our policies. The edited message is sent to your counterpart as soon as it is approved.

 

Message Rejected

 

If, on the other hand, the message is disapproved, it will remain in your message box and cannot be viewed by your counterpart. We will also notify you via email if this happens so you can edit the message and send it again 😉


Remember that it is very important that all communications and payments are made through the platform, so we can enforce our guarantee if necessary.
