Writing a good proposal and choosing which clients to contact

Last Updated: Aug 29, 2019 03:39PM ART
Once you have found a project you want to apply for, it is really important that you read all the information provided carefully and make sure everything is clear. If you have any questions or if you think some information is missing, you can write a message and ask the author of the project. This will make job details more clear.😎

Once you know what the author of the project is looking for, you can send a proposal explaining how you will do the job and entering the amount you want to get paid for doing the job (which includes the Workana fee). It is also important, of course, that you introduce yourself and highlight the skills you have to complete the published project.

Here are some tips for writing a good proposal and choosing which clients to contact.😉

As a professional, there is a limit on the number of proposals you can make. This is to make sure that you only place bids on projects matching your skills and interest, and therefore, get a good rating from clients.

Once you have found a project you want to apply for, read the job description carefully. If you have any questions or if you think some information is missing, you can contact the client directly before sending a proposal by clicking on Ask a question. You can ask the client any questions concerning the scope of the project, payment, deadline, etc.

If the job description is complete and clear, click on Place a bid to send a proposal. This is your opportunity to stand out and explain the client why you are the best choice for the project. Demonstrate that you have read the proposal and address any questions or topics included in the description.

How to structure your proposal

  • Introduction. Always be respectful and use a professional tone. In this first paragraph, you should introduce yourself and include general information.
  • Skills. Write about your professional experience, training, skills, and anything that differentiates you from other candidates. You can include years of experience, give examples of jobs you have previously completed on Workana, mention your rating on Workana, and invite the client to see your profile.
  • Specifications. Include information that is relevant to this project, such as activities, expectations, deliverables, deadline, etc. to avoid misunderstandings.

Finally, enter the amount you want to get paid for doing the job. The Workana fee will be automatically calculated, and the client will receive the total amount.
