The client is not answering my messages/proposal

Sometimes a client posts a project and then takes a long time to answer questions/proposals from professionals.

At Workana, we’ve decided not to set a specific time period for the publication and posting of projects because, in our experience, many of them have been reactivated with excellent results after several months with no signs of activity.

How do I know if a project is still active?

Once you enter the project, you can see its status. You can enter the project to view its status at
www.workana.com/job/NAME-OF-PROJECT

There are 5 possible status:
  • Evaluating bids
At this stage, the client has not chosen a professional yet. If you are not sure whether the project is still active, you can ask the client before sending a formal bid.
 
  • Waiting for escrow
At this stage, the client has already chosen a professional and is about to make payment of escrow to start working. If the project is at this stage, unfortunately, you will no longer be able to contact the client through the messages exchanged earlier with that client.
 
  • Working
At this stage, the project is in progress.
 
  • Finished
This means that the project has already been completed and is finished.
 
  • Cancelled
In this case, the project has been cancelled by the client. You will see a message from our system with this information.

The only stage at which you can exchange messages with clients is when the project status is "Evaluating bids", or at all subsequent stages if the client has accepted your proposal.
